Vice President of Production Brian joined Vicon House of Moves in 2008 after 7 years at Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios where he directed the Cinematics, Animation/ Motion Capture, Scanning and Video Service Department. Prior to his work at Sony, Brian was a founding patner of Spectrum Studios enabling groups like BET and Nickelodeon to bring real-time motion captured characters live to broadcast. Brian’s expertise is the end-to-end production of games and cinematics. His work can be seen in franchises and popular titles such as Tron, God of War, Call of Dutyand Killzone.
DJ Hauck
Technical Supervisor DJ comes to House of Moves with over 11 years of motion capture experience. As a pioneer in full-body and facial motion capture, highlights include innovative pipeline development solutions for Sony Pictures Imageworks on such features as Beowulf, Monster House and The Polar Express. Prior to re-joining House of Moves, he co-founded the Digital Concepts Group and developed DCG Face, a toolset for cleaning and re-targeting facial animation. Additional work includes fully articulated finger capture for iPerform3D, the first 3D musical instruction platform.
Eric Lashelle
Lead Animator Eric joined House of Moves from Double Helix Games where he was the Senior Animator on Silent Hill V. He brings extensive skills in keyframing, camera animation, character to engine direction and story boarding. Prior to his work at Double Helix, Eric worked for Sony Computer Entertainment America on games such as God Of War and at Omation on films such as Barnyard the Movie.
Heather McCann
Senior Producer Heather has been working with motion capture since the Matrix Reloaded in 2001, having come from the world of live action film and commercial production. She went on to work with Sony Imageworks organizing and implementing production data systems for The Polar Express, Monster House, and Beowulf. She returned to Imageworks to manage information flow on the shoot for Alice in Wonderland, which employed several kinds of film, visual effects, and motion capture technologies at once and was an Academy Award nominee for best Visual Effects for 2010. With broad production experience in features, commercials, visual effects, and interactive products, Heather brings a commitment to the highest quality work and a passion for the development of tools and techniques to broaden the creative toolkit of each client.
Jimmy Corvan
Business Development Manager Jimmy joined House of Moves in early 2011 after a short stint in motion capture hardware sales with House of Moves’ parent company, Vicon Motion Systems. He brings with him a very inclusive background from the business world as well as in-depth knowledge of motion capture and the production process.
